Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you request a part and how we use it.
1. Who is responsible for your data
MIMS Car Parts & Accessories ("MIMS", "we", "us"). Contact: mimscpa@gmail.com or WhatsApp 0704 240 2011.
2. What we collect
- From the request form: your name, WhatsApp number, whether you are a car owner, mechanic, workshop, dealer or other, your car's make, model and year, your VIN, the part you need, and any notes you add.
- From your visit: a random session ID, which page you visited, which WhatsApp buttons you tapped, and where you came from (for example a link or website). We do not use advertising trackers.
- From WhatsApp: the messages you send us and your WhatsApp number.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your request, send a quote, supply and deliver your part, and handle returns.
- To understand how many people use MIMS and which channels bring them, so we can improve the service.
- We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Who we share it with
- Licensed dealers for Toyota, Honda, Skoda, Porsche, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Nissan and Audi, who receive your car and part details so they can confirm stock and price.
- Delivery partners, who receive your name, number and delivery details to complete delivery.
- Service providers that store or host our data: Google (for the spreadsheet that stores requests), WhatsApp (messaging) and Cloudflare (website hosting). Some of these process data on servers outside Nigeria.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your request data for 24 months, then delete it. Records we must keep for tax or legal reasons may be kept for as long as the law requires.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email mimscpa@gmail.com and we will respond promptly. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
7. Session storage
The site stores a random session ID in your browser's session storage to count visits. It is cleared when you close the tab and is not used to identify you personally.
8. Security
We limit access to request data to the people who need it to serve you. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as MIMS grows. The date at the top shows the latest version.
